My personal philosophy
I believe care begins with listening to the whole person. Your beliefs, values and lived experience guide our conversations; prayer and spiritual practices are invitations, never requirements.
A more personal approach to whole-person wellness
At Anam Cara, I believe that meaningful well-being begins with understanding the whole person—not simply individual habits or challenges, but the deeper connections between physical wellness, emotional balance, spiritual life, personal values, relationships, and purpose.
Through compassionate guidance, holistic wellness education, pastoral support, and complementary practices, I offer a welcoming space for reflection, personal growth, and intentional living.
Whether you are seeking spiritual companionship, exploring natural wellness traditions, navigating a life transition, or simply hoping to reconnect with yourself, my goal is to meet you with respect, understanding, and genuine care.
My philosophy considers mind, body, spirit, lifestyle, relationships, environment and sense of purpose together. I specialize in helping women, welcoming people of all faiths, denominations and those without.

The meaning of a soul friend
Anam Cara is an Irish phrase meaning “soul friend.” It expresses the spirit of companionship at the heart of this practice: being met with attention, compassion and respect.
Anam Cara Cottage is intentionally small, quaint, and intimate—a humble studio within a very old antebellum home, created as a quiet sanctuary for reflection, spiritual companionship, and whole-person care. Rooted in the Anam Cara tradition of the soul friend, our meetings take place in a simple, rustic, earthen space where conversation is held with gentleness, dignity, and confidentiality. Nothing here is fancy or imposing; it is a wholesome, grounded setting where you can slow down, be fully heard, and explore what matters most.

Begin with a conversation
You do not need to have everything figured out. Share what brings you here, ask about individual sessions or the 12-week journey, and explore whether working together feels right.
Telehealth and in-person visits are available through my independently operated private practice in Blairsville, Ga.
